Outstanding Customer Care
Our approach is simple, we aim to provide customers with an outstanding customer experience. We do this by quickly attending the job as we know how frustrating it is when you have a blocked drain. Secondly, we provide you with details of what we will be doing in order to either clear a blockage or clean the drains. Once the job is complete, we provide you with details of what we have done and ensure that you are fully satisfied with the outcome.
How to know if your drains need descaling?
Usually it’s pretty obvious if you need your drains descaling. These are the things to look out for:
- You will notice that when you flush the toilet, it will fill up instead of flush.
- When you run the taps, your sink doesn’t drain or retains water for a long time.
- A strange, unpleasant smell comes from the sink or from drain covers on or around your property.
- When you flush the toilet or drain the sink, you notice the water not running away as fast as it normally would.
Identifying & removing the blockage
Once the blockage has been pinpointed, there are several different options depending on the extent of the blockage from using rods to using our high pressure jet water spray (jetters) that quickly and effectively remove the blockage.
Drain CCTV Cameras
We use HD CCTV cameras when assessing your blocked drains and when we do so we can provide you with the footage so that you know what condition your drains are in. If we notice that your drains are in poor condition then you may also want us to do a full drain survey to identify weak areas of the drain.
Drain surveys
If on inspection we identify that you have drainage issues such as cracked, scaled or dislodged pipes then we solve the problem. Our drain surveys provide HD footage of all areas of the pipe and allow us to accurately identify problem areas. This means that if there is a serious problem with the pipe such as a break, we do not need to dig up the whole pipe. We can instead dig up the small section that is damaged and replace that section. This saves time and cost and is made possible due to our state of the art drainage equipment. We can then provide you with a report on our software which is approved by Water Research Council – an an established scheme recognised internationally and local authorities and insurers.
What if there is a problem with my drains?
Should a pipe be slightly worn or cracks emerging then we can re-line the inside of the pipe for you. This process puts a new highly protective coating over the existing drain pipe which allows water and waste to flow easily and safely through the drain.
